JYVÄSPEKSI 2026: DIVINATION SOCIETY OF KAAKELIRANTA
In the cabinets of power, there is a rumour, that the old divination society has been revived. But who are these clairvoyants and what does the nursing home of Kaakeliranta have to do with everything?
When the spiritual and material worlds collide, the nerve of a reporter and a long-standing marriage will be both put to the test. In the eye of the storm you might even ask yourself: Why do we think and act in a way that we currently do?
Let the 15 year old JyväSpeksi to guide you this spring to the mystical 90s, which includes a wacky cast of characters and unforeseen magic amidst the recession!

What is JyväSpeksi?
JyväSpeksi is an interdisciplinary student theater that combines improvisation, live music and dancing. The audience participates in making each performance unique by shouting ‘Omstart’, when the actors replay the scene again in a different way. Every performance is inevitably different! JyväSpeksi unites the entire academic community, with the goal of including everyone interested in Speksi, regardless of their field of study. We have 100 contributors from various associations, guilds and departmental organizations, and the number continues to grow every year.
